At Boise State University, we value our employees as much as we do our students.

Every two years, we ask for feedback from employees about their experiences working at the university through the Employee Experience Survey.

Participation in the survey sheds light on ways to shape a better work environment for faculty and staff. Feedback directly contributes to the university better understanding how employees view their own professional journey here at Boise State. It points to areas where the university should make changes and improvements.

The survey delves into three key aspects of the employee experience:

• Leadership: How campus employees experience communication, support and guidance from levels of leadership at Boise State University.
• Culture: Employee insights on teamwork, collaboration and the overall work environment at Boise State.
• Engagement: How employees feel connected to a sense of purpose, motivation and an overall commitment to the university.

In each of these three sections, employees are asked questions related to their local team/department, college/division and the university as a whole.

Assurance of Confidentiality

Employee privacy is an important component of this survey, so the Offices of Human Resources and Institutional Effectiveness have gone to great lengths to ensure the survey highlights the most significant data points while safeguarding participant identities. Survey Available Oct. 14 – 28, 2024

The survey begins on Monday, October 14, 2024 and will remain open for two (2) weeks, closing on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 11:55 p.m. The survey results will be available to campus in Spring 2025.

For employees who do not have a computer, the following dates and times are available to take the survey in the Human Resources Learning Lab (located in Capitol Village).
