Classified employees felt most satisfied with:
- their supervisor recognizing the importance of their personal and family life (86 percent)
- their supervisor being responsive to their ideas, requests and suggestions (82 percent)
- (three tied for third place):

- their supervisor having the expertise and ability to help them and their team succeed (80 percent)
- their supervisor listening when approached with a problem (80 percent)
- their supervisor caring about them as a person (80 percent)
Professional employees felt most satisfied with:
- their supervisor caring about them as a person (89 percent)
- their supervisor recognizing the importance of their personal and family life (88 percent)
- (three tied for third place)

- their supervisor listening when approached with a problem (85 percent)
- their supervisor supporting them (85 percent)
Faculty felt most satisfied with:
