Purpose
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Student Recreation Center including Student Staff Supervision, Facility Operations, Facility Scheduling and Event Management, as well as Risk Management and Security.
Level Scope

Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self development. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

- Possess a basic knowledge of student development methods and practices, facility operations and management, facility scheduling and event management, risk management and safety, and budgeting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Essential Functions
Key Responsibilities
60% of Time the Campus Recreation Coordinator, Associate must:
- Directly responsible for the hiring, scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and day-to-day supervision.
- Provide daily, hands-on instruction and development opportunities for student staff through on-going training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Serve as the Main Campus Recreation contact for all Gym Equipment purchases and ensure quality of gym equipment for daily rentals at the Equipment Desk.
- Directly oversee the daily management, operations, regular maintenance, and troubleshooting of all recreation management software.
- Collaborate with all Campus Recreation program areas to ensure all scheduled facility reservations and events have been coordinated and communicated to the Program in advance
- Develop, coordinate, and lead Risk Management and Safety training for Facility Supervisors and Facility Attendants.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
