SHRep Job Responsibilities Overview
- Serve as the first point of contact at the Housing and Residence Life front desk for residents, guests, and campus visitors.
- Provide professional, friendly, and solutions-focused customer service both in person and over the phone/email.
- Support administrative tasks using tools like Gmail, Google Drive, StarRez, Zoom Phone, and PeopleSoft.
- Submit maintenance work orders and assist with housing-related questions or concerns.
- Keep the office, lobby, and work areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with digital engagement efforts, including social media support and website content review.
- Uphold confidentiality, especially when working with sensitive student information (FERPA compliance).
- Act as a positive role model while maintaining a professional image on and off campus, including online.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and maintain consistent communication with supervisors.
