Karen Pinto was invited to speak at a workshop on “Mediterranean Crossings” at Yale University: April 17 & 18, 2015.
Based on her on-going NEH book project, Karen presented a paper on “Seeing the Mediterranean Through Islamic Cartographic Eyes: Visualizing, Spaces, Places, and Borders of the Great Thughūr of Southeastern Anatolia.”
