Peter Leavell, a Boise State University history graduate, has been named the winner of the Christian Writer’s Guild 2011 Operation First Novel contest!  Leavell will receive $20,000 and his novel, Gideon’s Call, is being published by Worthy Publishing and will be available fall 2012.  Gideon’s Call is a historical fiction set during the Civil War.
