One of our own, history professor Lynn Lubamersky, presented her research at the European Social Science History Conference at the University of Glasgow in Scotland on April 14. She took part in a panel on “Domestic Disturbances: Political Implications of Domestic Violence in Early Modern Europe.” The University of Glasgow has a rich history as the place where James Watt perfected the steam engine and Adam Smith envisioned free market capitalism. Lubamersky is pictured at the renowned Glasgow Science Center.
