Through the Boise State University Office of Publications, Vice President Mark Rudin, and Professor and editor Todd Shallat publish nonfiction books of popular scholarship about Idaho and the West. Â Their upcoming book, titiled Urban West Revisited by Stephanie Witt and Jim Weatherby, is a political science book about ten western cities. Â Another anticipated title is Idaho Microbes, a book about the secret social life of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. Â A third forthcoming publication deals with Japanese Internment at Idaho’s Camp Minidoka.
