The Office of BroncoFit is hosting a Free Employee HIV Testing event for STI Awareness Week. Faculty and staff can get tested on April 18th from 7:30-3:00pm in the Norco Building room 114. Central District Health (CDH) will be on-site conducting rapid HIV/Syphilis tests that use a small sample of blood from a finger stick to provide results within 20 minutes. Walk-in appointments only.
The only way to know your HIV status is to get tested. Knowing your status gives you powerful information to keep you and your partner(s) healthy. The CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care, and more often depending on your risk factors for getting HIV.
