Our Health Sciences Camp is tailored for high school juniors and seniors of the 2024-2025 academic year who are interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare sector. This 3 day-long program offers participants the opportunity to meet peers, delve into various health care professions, and gain hands-on experience in academic programs. Join us to connect, explore, and immerse yourself in the diverse array of health care pathways alongside a supportive cohort of like-minded students.

Dates: July 15, 16, and 17, 2024
Cost: $250 Includes room, food and all activities.

As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Boise State University alumni currently enrolled in professional schools or working as health care professionals in various capacities.
  • Boise State faculty members who possess expertise in areas related to human health.
  • Current Boise State students who are actively pursuing careers in health care.
  • Boise State health professions advisors who can provide guidance and support.

  • A diverse range of professions focused on human health, including healthcare providers, kinesiology, public health professionals, and researchers in illness and disease.
  • Academic programs dedicated to human health that equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in the healthcare industry.
  • Strategies for navigating professional school applications and becoming a competitive applicant.

  • Living on campus in the university residence halls, providing a taste of the college experience.
  • Engaging in hands-on activities that offer insight into various aspects of healthcare.
  • Immersing themselves in campus life at Boise State University has to offer, including its resources and facilities.

Cancelation Policy

Prior to the start of the program, we pay for facility reservations, staffing, supplies, and equipment, therefore our cancellation and refund policy has been created with those expenses in mind. Full refunds are available until 30 days prior to the camp start date. Less than 30 days notice results in a 50% refund. Request for refund must be made by camp start date. No refunds or credits will be given for missed, sick, or suspended days.
