Register for GENCOUN 320 – Intro to Clinical Embryology. There are still spots available for this fall!

The Embryology course is offered by Boise State Online. The course is GENCOUN 320 – Intro to Clinical Embryology. The course description states:

“Introduction to the concepts of human embryology and anatomical development, underlying genetic etiologies of normal and abnormal development. Body systems and the normal development of the human embryo at different stages, including gametogenesis, fertilization, implantation, gastrulation, and neurulation will be covered, along with associations with embryological structure and the significance of normal and abnormal development. Application of related clinical abnormal indications to underlying genetic and biological mechanisms.”

It is an online, asynchronous, 2 credit course that will satisfy our program’s Embryology prerequisite. Each credit is $399 for Idaho residents and $830 for non-residents. There is an additional $60 Course fee. You will receive an official transcript from Boise State on completion of the course.

It will be taught during the 1st 7-week session of the Fall. Beginning in 2025, it will also be offered in the Summer.

If you are not already a Boise State student, you would need to apply to Boise State (you can apply as an Adult Learner / Non-degree Seeking student). Once you have been admitted to Boise State and have your Student ID/Boise State Email address, you can log into your Student Center. From there you can search for the course and enroll – based on your Enrollment Appointment.
