The Idaho Statesman featured an article about BroncoFit on Feb. 26. which outlines the College of Health Sciences’ goal of achieving student and employee health. The article also stresses the importance of overall employee and student wellness as well as physical fitness.
“It is great to see that the community is recognizing the work that is being done at Boise State with BroncoFit,” said Michelle Ihmels, director of wellness for University Health Services. “BroncoFit is meant to improve the overall well-being of the Boise State community and beyond. We want to start within our own little community here on campus, but we also want to reach the broader community in Boise and the Treasure Valley. The Statesman’s coverage helps us spread the word about BroncoFit and since the article came out, we’ve received multiple inquiries about the program. Because BroncoFit is just in its infancy, it’s wonderful to see that others are wanting to be involved with the initiative and see the importance of it for the whole community.”
