Dale Stephenson, director of the School of Allied Health Sciences, partnered with Angeli Weller, executive in residence in the College of Business and Economics, to moderate  the Responsible Business Initiative autumn Lunch and Learn Program on Dec. 2 at the Boise State University Venture College. The program centered around the idea that business and organizations can create win-win solutions strategically, operationally, and philanthropically by understanding health as a source of innovation and competitive advantage. The panel of experts included Michelle Ihmels, director of Wellness Services in University Health Services.
The College of Business and Economics hopes this will be the beginning of a new conversation within their Responsible Business Initiative at Boise State about leveraging the power of business and other organizations to create positive health outcomes and see health as a driver of innovation.
