Terri Soelberg, director for the College of Health Sciences Office of Research, and Kimberly Page, associate director for the Office of Sponsored Programs, gave a well-received presentation for the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP) Annual Research Development Conference held May 19-21 in Portland, Oregon. Their presentation was titled “Small Investments, Big Impact: A Case Study of Organizational Change at an Emerging Research Institution.”
The conference focused on understanding key trends in federal and private research funding, large-scale proposal development by interdisciplinary research teams, and implementation of strategic initiatives that foster institutional competitiveness.
