Fifteen students from the Student Association of Radiologic Technologists collaborated with the community to present a health and career fair for the K-6 students at Koelsch Elementary. The fair featured diverse stations through which students rotated to learn about different career opportunities and participate in health-safety activities. The Boise State students presented such topics as hand washing, helmet safety, safe biking, personal hygiene and electricity safety while stressing the importance of school and encouraging careers in each area. The children were also able to interact with a therapy pig and a therapy pony. Boise State students also assisted other presenters with their STEM-related career presentations.
