Cost, Quality, & Access
Dr. Serratt conducts health services research (issues related to cost, quality and access to care) with a recent focus on issues related to nurse staffing. She has a varied professional background from bedside critical care, nursing administration, pharmaceutical sales, medical product research & development, and education. She is a methodological expert using large administrative data sets and quantitative analysis. As an educator, she seeks to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, quality care and to be change agents in developing a healthcare system that works well for everyone. Dr. Serratt received her PhD from the University of California, San Francisco with a focus in Health Policy.
