The Mountain West CTR-IN will be presenting a one-day grant writing workshop (GWW) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Las Vegas on 14-March-2017. This GWW is for Mountain West clinical and translational researchers who are planning on submitting National Institutes of Health R-type grant applications focused on health disparities. The guest speakers who will be attending this GWW are Curtis Noonan, Mountain West CTR-IN, Director of the Clinical and Translational Pilot Grant Program; and Laura Bond, PhD and Jacques Philip, MD, CTR-IN Biostatisticians. By the end of this one-day workshop, each participant will articulate new review elements, analyze and evaluate health disparities-related scientific premises, and engage with biostatisticians.
To apply for this GWW, please see the attached document. Travel expenses will be covered by CTR-IN.Â
Because this GWW will be an interactive workshop, each applicant is asked to agree to a confidentiality and nondisclosure statement upon applying. Also, each participant will be asked to agree to provide regular progress reports regarding external grant funding.
Applications are due by 6-Feb-2017 at 4 pm PST.
