The NIH is collaborating with other agencies to create a new single web portal to search federally funded science projects across multiple agencies, called the Federal RePORTER This collaboration has linked research from a number of federal agencies including: the US Department of Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Defense programs, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and many others.
As in the NIH RePORTER, you can perform advanced text searches, choose the fiscal year of interest, and even search across one or all agencies in the database. This is a great centralized research tool to allow collaboration and information on many of the federal government’s investments in research. In addition to the sophisticated search capabilities, the Federal RePORTER also features a variety of tools including search interface, charts, maps, and hierarchical topic groupings based on descriptive text about the project.
