Hello, my name is Emily Spriet, and I am the Academic Advisor once you are accepted into the Nursing program. I am going to go over the application period as well as where you go to start that process.
You will want to start out by going to the Boise State’s Bachelors of Science in Nursing’s homepage, which I have here. There you will find the application deadlines for each cycle.
Please DO NOT wait until the last minute to apply. If you do and you are missing materials, we WILL NOT have enough time to get the late materials from you. Therefore, by applying early, there is time to fix things.
You should have already turned in your transcripts to Admissions since they are required for admission to the University. If you have courses that are in progress, remember to send those final transcripts to admissions as soon as your grades post.
Okay, so you have applied and were granted admission to Boise State. You have met with your pre-nursing advisor and you are ready to apply to the Nursing program!
Once again, you are going to navigate to the School of Nursing web address shown here on the screen and start the application process.
Next you will select “Application Instructions” from there you will follow further instructions to proceed throughout the process.
