Nate Locke is an Academic Advisor in the College of Health Sciences’ Student Services and Academic Advising Office. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Sonoma State University and a master’s degree in counseling from San Diego State University. He has worked in higher education for 12 years in the areas of faculty development, instructional design, and academic advising. Nate’s motivation comes from the opportunity to positively influence students’ lives and enhance the university learning community.
Nate has lived in Boise for 8 years with his wife Alison, his son Everett, and crazy dog Stanley. He is happiest outdoors hiking, rafting, snowboarding, and playing with his 4-year old. Nate also enjoys watching or playing any sport.
