Greetings Adaptive Recreation Supporters,
The AdVenture Program’s annual fundraiser, ChairHoops (a Wheelchair Basketball Tournament) will be held on Thursday, March 21, Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, 2019. This fundraiser benefits the Boise Parks & Recreation Adaptive Recreation Program called AdVenture which provides year-round adaptive recreation opportunities for people with disabilities.
The AdVenture Program is seeking volunteers to help with this fundraising event and hope you might be interested in volunteering! In order to raise money for the program, all of the referees and scorekeepers are volunteers. No experience is necessary, this tournament is for fun, however, some basketball knowledge is helpful for refereeing. For those who are unable to play or volunteer but still want to support the AdVenture Program, they will be hosting a silent auction at the event. Individuals will also be able to bid on items the week of the tournament at Fort Boise Community Center. Learn more ways of supporting AdVenture by visiting their website.
