As a reminder, SHPEP is a 6-week FREE summer in-residence (free food and housing) enrichment program for underrepresented first year and sophomore college student who are interested in careers in the health professions. Participants also receive a $600 stipend. Find info online about the 12 different sites.
Students only need to provide 3 things:
- Transcripts from any college they have attended
- 1 letter of recommendation
- 1 short essay
