The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) offers an educational opportunity for first- and second-year college students interested in exploring a career in the health professions. The program’s focus is on increasing the diversity of health professionals. The career tracks include dentistry, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, and public health.

This is a free 6-week summer enrichment program for first-year and sophomore college students from underrepresented and/or socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds interested in health careers.
