International Education Week
Join the Center for Global Engagement in celebrating International Education Week 2022. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment. In support of this initiative, the Center for Global Engagement has set up the following events, open to all students, faculty and staff. There is no RSVP required.
Monday, 11/14
Country Presentations, Ah Fong room (Student Union Building) from 2 PM – 3 PM
International students will give informative presentations about their countries. There will be time for questions at the end. Come to learn something new!
International Scholars, Hatch C Ballroom (Student Union Building) from 4 PM – 5 PM
Why are scholars from around the world visiting Boise State to work and conduct research? Come find out who they are, what they are doing, and why they chose Boise State!
Wednesday, 11/16
Language, Identity, and Culture Conference, Lookout Room (Student Union Building) from 12 PM – 2 PM
Join us in support of our Boise State University multilingual students, particularly those in English 101M (M = Multilingual) as they share their experiences navigating language, identity, and culture. Free and open to all.
Coffee and Conversation, Student Equity Center Lounge from 3 PM – 5:30 PM
ISS will be hosting a special Coffee and Conversation for International Education Week! Come drink coffee, eat snacks, and test your international trivia knowledge.
Friday, 11/18
See The World, Jordan Ballroom (Student Union Building) from 12:30 PM – 2 PM
Join our around-the-world tabling event and get an insight into different Global Education opportunities!
