Bio:
I served as an Education Volunteer, specifically Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I worked in a secondary school with Middle School age students. Life in Benin was difficult, but rewarding and interesting. Everything is community based and people are always happy to have you be a part of their community. Being in Benin allows you the opportunity to see the diversity of West Africa in a country with 64 different languages and three different major religions (Christianity, Islam, and Voodoo). It was rewarding to be a part of one of the fastest growing parts of the world.
