Although the current global situation inhibits our ability to travel abroad, we can continue to establish and build virtual communities and friendships that deepen cross-cultural understanding and respect and encourage international problem solving, collaboration, and innovation.
This online course offers you a valuable opportunity to make new friends from around the world, expand your global communication skills, and discuss interesting, timely, and meaningful topics.
In this one credit course, you will:
- Gain global communication skills, awareness and competencies
- Participate in an international networking exchange
- Meet people from around the world and build global friendships

Course Format:
Local and international students will meet remotely and synchronously twice a week in a facilitated and interactive online platform. Dynamic and relevant student-generated topics will fuel the remote class sessions and provide opportunities for Boise State students to gain global communicative competencies while assisting the international students to build their English communication skills.
You do not need to speak another language to participate in this class.
