Why Tokyo?
Hosei University founded in 1880; offers three branch campuses and has a student population of 34,000 students. Boise State students will study at the Ichigaya campus located in central Tokyo. The other two other campuses, Tama and Koganei are located west of the Tokyo suburbs.
Hosei University is one of the “Major Six Universities in Tokyo” and offers academic programs in 11 faculties and 12 graduate programs. There are more than 300 clubs such as baseball, rugby, and martial arts; and many other academic and cultural clubs. The university is also unique because Boise State granted Hosei approval to install a blue turf football field due to our long standing relationship in academics and football coach training.
