Why Kristiansand?

With more than 14,000 students, the University of Agder is the fifth largest university in Norway. It offers a wide variety of study programs in Business, Engineering and Science, Education, Political Science, Information Systems, and the Humanities.

Kristiansand is the administrative center for the region and has a rich cultural life. Moreover, Kristiansand is the largest summer tourist resort in Norway, with its armada of pleasure boats, one of northern Europe’s largest zoos, and amusement parks as major tourist attractions.

Location

Kristiansand is is a Renaissance town founded in 1641 by King Christian IV of Denmark and Norway. Since this time Kristiansand has been a commercial center with good connections abroad.Today it prides itself as the second largest port in Norway
