Academics

Edge Hill offers a full range of courses to study abroad students including: Biology, Business, English, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Criminology, Dance, Education, Geosciences, History, Kinesiology, Law, Media, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and more.

In the UK classes are called “modules”. Students take 60 UK credits in a semester which equals around 15 US credits.

Some UK universities have year long courses and are only available to year long students. Semester 1 classes are Fall, Semester 2 classes are Spring. Check the catalog closely to see the if the class is offered for a semester or year.

Students cannot depart England before their final exams.

Edge Hill University has won a number of UK awards for their on campus housing. Study abroad students typically live in Forest Court in single rooms.

The bathroom, showers and kitchen facilities are shared. All halls have a shared kitchen, but 12 meals per week are included in your program fees.

All rooms include Wi-Fi access, a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and chair and a wastebasket. Bed sheets, duvets, pillowcases, and towels are provided.

Edgehill is a Broncos Abroad* pricing agreement.

• Tuition and Fees: $14,975 USD for Spring 2025 (subject to change)
• Housing: included, single room, shared bathroom
• Meals: included, averages 12 meals per week
• Airport pick up: Included (if arriving into Manchester/ Liverpool airport during the designated arrival period)
• WUE/GEM/Treasure eligible: No
• Boise State employee dependent fee waiver: No
• Study abroad/exchange fee: $400/semester
• Student visa fee: £363 for year long students. Subject to change at any time.
• Insurance: varies

Broncos Abroad pricing is a Boise State negotiated fee with the host university. It usually will be a lower cost than many program providers. You will pay the university directly for the costs.
