- Education Abroad Handbook  -All study abroad students are given the study abroad handbook, which discusses health and safety issues in great detail and will answer many questions regarding health and safety.
- The US Department of State has created a website specifically for students going overseas. It has a variety of information helpful to student travelers and study abroad student Students Abroad website.

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) a free service provided by the US government to register your trip abroad.

US State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs The State Department’s web site regularly posts consular information sheets and travel updates. You can also find useful information on services for Americans abroad, voting while abroad, travel publications, passport information, judicial assistance overseas, and embassy and consulate addresses.
