Alpha Chi Omega is a women’s fraternity founded on October 15, 1885. Currently, there are 194 collegiate and 279 alumnae chapters represented across the United States, and the fraternity counts more than 230,000 members initiated through its history. On Boise State’s campus is the Epsilon Nu Chapter, which consists of 140 women. We are devoted to spreading awareness to Domestic Violence and advocating for the WCA (Women’s and Children’s Alliance) located in downtown Boise.

For more than 119 years, Zeta Tau Alpha has built strong, confident, responsible leaders. Through ZTA, our sisters build lifelong friendships, serve others in their communities and help each other develop their potential while seizing opportunities for lifelong learning. We strive to uphold high personal standards with a commitment to sisterhood, values and “a devotion to the Right, the Good and the True.”

ZTA is made up of purpose-driven women who “Seek the Noblest” in all endeavors while “remembering always that the foundation precept of Zeta Tau Alpha was Love, the greatest of all things.” The Fraternity and ZTA Foundation support members’ growth through educational programming and opportunities to serve others and promote breast cancer education and awareness. Members of ZTA are encouraged to follow their passion, and their sisters are there to support those goals. Our chapter, Lambda Omicron, was installed January 20, 2018, and since then our bond of sisterhood has only grown. We are the 253rd link in the Chain of Chapters, and this is ZTA’s first chapter in the state of Idaho.

Sigma Lambda Gamma is a sisterhood of women who have chosen this affiliation as a manner to achieve personal development and awareness to the responsibility of community involvement for the betterment of our local, regional, national and global communities through the efforts of a network of close to 3,000 sorority members. Furthermore, we continue to be a pioneer in the Greek fraternal world through development of innovative programming initiatives, such as the Young Women’s Leadership Program and Emotional Intelligence. Today, Sigma Lambda Gamma is the largest, historically Latina-based national sorority with a multicultural membership in chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States. We were founded to provide a community of sisterhood, empowerment and encouragement for all women, with a strong emphasis on those with diverse ethnic backgrounds. Although more that 70 percent of our national alumni/undergraduate membership of about 8,000 women is Latina, it also counts members representing 110 different additional ethnic background, including Asian, African-American and Caucasian. Any women who can embrace our sorority’s five principles of Academics, Community Service, Cultural Awareness, Morals & ethics, and Social Interaction is welcome. SigEp is redefining fraternity on college campuses across the country. We complement a man’s education by delivering a premier student experience in one of the most formative times of his life. Through SigEp, men strengthen their character, build leadership and interpersonal skills, and learn to develop healthy, lifelong relationships that are essential to a successful and fulfilling life.

Our Programs

SigEp’s member development program provides the foundation of the SigEp experience, and represents our commitment to being a valued partner in higher education. The Balanced Man Program is the centerpiece of the SigEp Experience and provides the skills, knowledge and growth that today’s student needs to be successful during and after college. The Balanced Man Program is a non-pledging, non-hazing, four-year, personal, academic, leadership and professional skills development experience. The philosophical tenets of the BMP are rooted in the founding values of the Fraternity. They guide every aspect of the Balanced Man Program:

Who we are

Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded in 1901 on the campus of Richmond College (now called the University of Richmond) in Richmond, Virginia. The story of its founding by 12 determined men set the stage for the growth and success of one of the country’s premier fraternal organizations. The history of the Fraternity reflects the times, through great wars and profound cultural shifts. Throughout the decades, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon have practiced their values and embraced the stated desire of the Founders, “This Fraternity will be different.”

Sigma Lambda Beta (ΣΛΒ) International Fraternity, Inc. is a Latino-based social fraternity with multicultural membership, established on cultural understanding and wisdom. Founded on April 4, 1986 at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. The organization is committed to create and expand multicultural leadership, promote academic excellence, advance cultural awareness and service while influencing its mission amongst all dedicated collegiate men worldwide. With over 132 entities consisting of colonies, chapters, and alumni associations across the country and even Puerto Rico it continues to be one of the fastest growing multicultural fraternities in the nation.

Sigma Lambda Beta was founded at Boise State University on March 27, 2007 and received colony status. After putting a lot of hard work towards this great Fraternity they were able to get chapter status 2 years later. The chapter has been established for over 10 years and continues to support its members at Boise State University.

The mission of the organization: To nurture and further a dynamic, values-based environment which utilizes our historically Latino based fraternity as a catalyst to better serve the needs and wants of all people.
