Crystal Scott

Faculty

Crystal Ivie graduated from the University of  Virginia in 2007 with her MS in Biology in 2007.  Her area of emphasis was in the field of embryology. After teaching at 2 universities in Virginia for 8 years, she was published in the areas of microbiology, pedagogy and virology.  She moved to Idaho in 2015, and began work at Boise State in 2015, first working in the Biomolecular Research Center, while teaching undergraduate genetics, and later Developmental Biology.  Currently, she teaches for the Genetic Counseling Department.

Crystal is actively engaged in her community and enjoys discussions about the role of genetics, environment, and cell signaling in the growth and development of human development.
