Boise State University does not endorse any specific website and is not responsible for the content on the various scholarship websites. We ask companies and organizations to register with a national scholarship search website.

We also list scholarship information on the bulletin board outside of the Financial Aid Office in the Administration Building.

ACEC of Idaho – Under the auspices of ACEC’s College of Fellows and the ACEC Research Institute, ACEC of Idaho will award two (2) General Scholarships, $2000 and $1500.Students must be entering their junior, senior, fifth, or master’s degree year, in the fall of 2025 in an Idaho institution or have graduated from an Idaho institution to qualify for the general scholarships.03/14/2025
American Water Works Assocation -The Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association is offering scholarships to students attending colleges and universities in our region, including community colleges. These scholarships are intended for students whose major coursework may point them toward a career in the public water supply industry. Eligible academic areas include, but are not limited to: water supply operation/technology, civil or environmental engineering, water resources, public administration/finance and environmental health.03/07/2025
Assistance League of Boise Student Scholarship for the Hard of Hearing – This scholarship supports hard of hearing graduating seniors from Ada County, Idaho, or continuing higher education students residing in Ada County, pursuing education at an accredited institution in the US. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academics, leadership, and extracurricular involvement.04/01/2025

Boise State University Dr. Ralph R. Jones MD FACS Pre-Medical Summer 2025 Research Fellowship – Boise State University annually awards competitive research fellowships for Boise State students to collaborate with research scientists. The pre-medical students selected for this fellowship award will receive a stipend for participating in bench research setting and assisting with research activities. A student award of $6000.00 is offered to facilitate student involvement in collaborative research on topics of interest to the student and as preparation for a future medical school application. Fellowships at Boise State are awarded in a combined Employee/Educational Experience format. Fellows will complete timesheets for hours worked, which is subject to payroll withholding. Fellows will also participate in some mandatory, non-compensatory educational opportunities. The recipient is expected to and should anticipate committing to typically a minimum of 40 hours per week for 10 weeks in the selected lab during the summer of 2025. Army ROTC – offers scholarships and financial assistance to qualified students. Those who receive scholarships and financial assistance will have a virtually guaranteed job as a leader in the US Army upon graduation. Available scholarships and financial assistance can include up to full tuition and fees for Boise State, funds for books, plus a monthly stipend. Whether you are already a Bronco, or are a high school student planning to attend BSU, Army ROTC has options available for you.Varies

COCA-COLA Scholars Foundation – To be eligible for the COCA-COLA Scholars Foundation, applicants must be current high school/home-schooled student, U.S. citizen and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. college or university. 09/30/2024
Department of Homeland Security Scholarships – The Department of Homeland Security offers a variety of prestigious scholarships, fellowships, internships and training opportunities to expose talented students to the broad national security mission.Varies
Far West Agribusiness Association Scholarship – FWAA scholarship program has been designed to provide outstanding high school and collegiate students with financial assistance to pursue their education at a college, university, or trade school in the United States. There will be two selection pools, one for graduating high school seniors and one for current college students.04/04/2025
The Galbraith Memorial P.E.O. Scholarship – The Galbraith Memorial P.E.O. Scholarship is a local scholarship for deserving women who are working towards a post-secondary degree. P.E.O. is an organization that strongly supports educational opportunities for women throughout the United States and Canada. The P.E.O. Chapters of Idaho Falls, including Chapters AA, BG, BI, and CM, established this scholarship funded by the Galbraith Memorial P.E.O. Scholarship Fund. The Fund was established in 2021-2022 through the generous donation and in loving memory of Graeme and Joanne Galbraith. 03/01/2025

Fulbright Scholar Program – The Fulbright Scholar Program offers U.S. faculty, administrators and professionals grants to lecture, conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields, or to participate in seminars. Varies
Golden Garden Club Scholarship – The purpose of the GGC scholarship is to support and advance the educational efforts of community members residing in Districts of Garden Clubs of Idaho, Inc., with highest consideration given to applicants enrolled in the study of horticultural education, environmental education or sciences, or biology as related to stated courses. Applicants need to complete the provided application and essay, as outlined. March 1 (Annually)
Grandio Greenhouses Sustainability Scholarship – Backyard Living Source, Inc. and the Grandio Greenhouses® will be offering $500 each to 5 eligible applicants who will be randomly selected. Eligible applicants will be pursuing an education in horticulture, agriculture, or business. Recipients must attend school the semester the scholarship is awarded. 11/30/2024
Gymreapers 2025 Athletic Scholarships Program – Gymreapers is offering 5, $1000 scholarships to student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement while actively participating in a college sports team or athletic club.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation – The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Idaho AGC – The Idaho AGC is the state’s largest network of construction professionals. This scholarship awards $1500 to full-time, higher education students seeking a career in construction.05/31/2024
Idaho Community Foundation – ICF manages over 70 different scholarship funds – each customized according to the desires of the fund creator. Each has its own eligibility criteria, application requirements, and review process. Many have their own applications, deadlines, and eligibility requirements. ISACA Boise Chapter – The ISACA Boise Chapter is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic school year. This scholarship is to promote students studying in the related fields of: Computer Science, Information Systems and Security, Information Assurance, Secure Software Development, or Accounting (IT audit focus). Larry J. May Hospitality management Scholarship – This scholarship is open to all Idaho residents enrolled full-time or part-time in a hospitality industry related program at an accredited public or private college or university. Both degree-seeking and certificate-seeking students are eligible. Hospitality-related programs include (but are not limited to) hotel/lodging, culinary/restaurant, entertainment/golf club, resort, and the travel/tourism industries. The Lightfoot Foundation Scholarship – The Lightfoot Foundation is a non-profit organization helping Treasure Valley students wishing to further their education. National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation – In addition to our general scholarships of $2,500, multiple private individuals and donors have invested in the future of the restaurant industry by providing resources for scholarships to students like you. Criteria for each named scholarship is unique and awards can range from $2,500 to $10,000. The Lower Snake River Retired Educators Scholarship – The Lower Snake River Retired Educators are pleased to ask for your help in providing scholarship information to any students seeking an education degree who graduated from the New Plymouth, Fruitland, Payette or Weiser school districts, or are currently employed by one of the districts. Rotary Club of Ponderay Centennial – The Rotary Club of Ponderay provides scholarships to assist promising and deserving community citizens in realizing their post-secondary education and training goals.
