The MFA Reading Series presents Andrew Ewell, author of “Set for Life,” which Richard Russo calls, “a sharp, witty and surprisingly moving academic novel.”
Ewell will give a reading at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 1 in The Hemingway Center, followed by a book signing. Free and open to the public, the MFA Reading Series brings renowned writers to the Boise State campus each year.
The author of “Set for Life,” Andrew Ewell holds a BA in English from Carleton College and an MFA in creative writing from Boston University. He received fellowships from Yaddo, The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and the Moulin à Nef Studio Center, in Auvillar, France. His stories and essays appear in Salon, The Chattahoochee Review, Five Chapters, TriQuarterly, and other publications. He taught English and creative writing at numerous universities before writing “Set for Life.”
