Semiconductor Career Connections

The College of Engineering, in collaboration with the Institute for Microelectronics Education and Research and Boise State University Career Services, is hosting Semiconductor Career Connections on September 16 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Student Union Building’s Simplot Ballroom.

Gain valuable insights into the exciting world of semiconductor careers, create connections, and discover internship and full-time opportunities. This event is open to all majors.

Event Highlights:
  • Day in the Life Presentation: Gain valuable insights into bridging your college experience to a successful career in the dynamic semiconductor industry.
  • Round Robin Networking: Facilitate interactive discussions for a deeper understanding of semiconductor employers, career opportunities, and the exciting work this industry entails.
  • Open Networking: Continue your conversations, start new ones, and solidify your connections as the evening concludes.
  • Career Services: Support to review resumes and provide career networking guidance.

Speaker Bio
Jinju Beineke is currently the Senior Director of Technology at Photronics, a global semiconductor company specializing in Photomask Manufacturing. Photronics is the only US-based photomask company in the world, located in Boise, Idaho. Jinju has over 17 years of experience in Photomask manufacturing, equipment, and R&D, with emphasis on new process development. Jinju has co-authored multiple papers in advanced Photomask process development, including EUV technology. Jinju Beineke is currently a PhD candidate at Boise State University.
