Join the Cycle Learning Center crew for a mountain bike ride in the Boise Foothills.
We will be meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Cycle Learning Center. We will have a short ride (1-1.5 hours) and a long ride (2-3 hours)option. These rides will be led by two student ride leaders who will have a fun route planned out to pedal up some hills and earn a fun descent back into town. The short ride will take frequent stops to help the group stay together and give everyone a breather. The long ride is faster paced and recommended for experienced and fit trail riders. We give pointers on riding skills and will do any trail-side maintenance as a group if someone has a mechanical issue.
These rides are a great way to learn your way around the foothills bike trails and meet other students interested in mountain biking. If you don’t have a mountain bike you may rent one from us for half price for these events. Helmets are required and are included in the rental. Bring a water bottle, a snack, and your sense of adventure! If you need a rental, please call ahead of time to make a reservation and plan on arriving at 5:00 p.m. as our supplies are limited.
These rides will be limited to 10 participants per group so please sign up!
