Join us as we repair the banks of the stream that runs through an iconic portion of the Boise foothills – Hulls Gulch! Repairing key areas along the stream will help reduce soil loss, maintain water on the landscape, and increase woody vegetation for wildlife habitat year-round.
We will meet at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, located at 3188 N Sunset Peak Place, in the heart of Hulls Gulch. At the moment, transportation is not planned. However, if there is a need for transportation, please let us know and we can arrange it.
You can expect to work no more than 2 hours and should come dressed for variable Idaho weather. We will be getting dirty and working with our hands, so we recommend boots or clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We’ll provide work gloves, tools, and snacks!
This service event is part of a three-part series in partnership with the City of Boise to restore habitats in the foothills. Join us for all three and see how your progress transforms and protects our environment!
