Electrical and Computer Engineering Research Seminar

The ECE Seminar is designed to engage students in their discipline. Although many topics are specific to electrical and computer engineering, all campus community members are welcome to attend.

Refreshments are provided by the ECE Department. Join us at 10:30 AM every Wednesday to network and sign in. Out of respect for our speakers, please arrive on time.

October 9: This week our featured guest speaker is Dr. Nazmus Sakib, Assistant Professor of Information Technology at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Sakib’s research is dedicated to leveraging technology’s potential to revolutionize healthcare and enhance learning experiences. Join us to learn more about how his research uses AI to advance healthcare.

October 16:This week is all about undergrads! Join us to hear from ECE Academic Programs Manager Ann Delaney.

October 23: ECE Seminar Features Dr. Mark Shaw. We’re hosting special guest Mark Shaw, Digital Ecosystem and Platform Strategist at HP.

November 1:ECE Seminar has invited special guest speaker Dr. Hanseup Kim, Chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Utah. Hanseup Kim earned his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1997, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
