Join us for a warm welcome from the ECE Department Chair as we kick off the fall semester. Dr. Neal Bangerter joined the College of Engineering last year, coming from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom where he was a senior faculty member in the Department of Bioengineering.
Bangerter is a medical imaging expert specializing in MRI. His research is focused on machine learning and signal and image processing. Current academic interests include the development of novel pulse sequences for magnetic resonance imaging at ultra-high magnetic field strengths, and the application of machine learning to a variety of problems in medical imaging and healthcare, biosciences, and other industries.
About our Program
The ECE Seminar is designed to engage students in their discipline. Although many topics are specific to electrical and computer engineering, all campus community members are welcome to attend.
Refreshments are provided by the ECE Department. Join us at 10:30 AM every Wednesday to network and sign in. Out of respect for our speakers, please arrive on time.
