Boise State Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert

Join the Boise State Symphony Orchestra, Boise State Jazz Orchestra and Boise State Percussion Group for a fun evening of music by composers influenced in their writing by dance. You will hear everything from jazz swing, ragtime, tango, waltz, and even minuets by composers such as Mozart, Shostakovich, Joplin, Khachaturian, Brahms and Dvorak. The program finishes with the orchestral blockbuster “Danzón No. 2” by Arturo Márquez, made famous by the conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Admission is $10 plus fees. Free tickets are available in advance from the Morrison Center Box Office for all Boise State students, faculty and staff with school IDs. All proceeds benefit Boise State Music scholarships.

Parking is included in the purchase of your ticket and is available just south of the Morrison Center. Just follow the signs and/or the parking attendant’s directions.
