WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll talk about how and why we mend. What would it look like for you to change your relationship to your wardrobe? How could your wardrobe be more sustainable? We’ll look at the history and practice of mending while practicing hands-on techniques. Each session will include a demonstration of one technique followed by guided practice and group discussion.

BRING SOMETHING TO MEND!
Nonstretchy or woven fabrics work best for the first two sessions, and stretchy or knits for the second two. Small holes, less than half an inch in diameter, are best for beginners.
This workshop is free and open to the public, sponsored by The City of Boise and Boise City Department of Arts & History. Materials will be provided.
