EsportsU A FREE two-week summer stay-at-home camp for high school-age gamers. Working with esports professionals, varsity student athletes, and industry leaders, EsportsU will introduce the diversity of careers and courses of study that accompany gaming and esports.  Campers will have the opportunity to “train” in their game like college and professional players.  They will be introduced to high-level goal setting, analysis, evaluation, planning, study, and learning technique through gaming that can improve their school experience.

Program elements will be developed but could include…

    • Delivered fully online
    • Broadcast matches and mini tournaments
    • Workshops with collegiate and professional gamers
    • Panel discussions broadcast on Twitch
    • Structure gaming/training sessions, just like collegiate and professional teams
    • Analysis and self-evaluation tools
    • Team building/Communication
    • Study skills

The camp will take place weekdays of July 20-31. From 12:00-6:00PM

The daily schedule will be rather flexible from day to day. However here is an example of an average day’s schedule

 

12:00-12:15: Welcome/announcements/daily schedule
12:15-12:30: Game specific warm up
12:30-1:30: Coaching session
1:30-3:00: Play
3:00-3:30: Active break
3:30-4:30: VOD review
4:30-6:00: Implement VOD learning/Tournaments
