Boise State Esports Hosts Open Gaming Lab at Engineering Festival

Boise State Esports recently participated in the 18th annual Engineering and Science Festival, hosted by the Boise State College of Engineering. Esports staff set up an open gaming lab in the Student Union Building where attendees could watch esports broadcasts, play video games, and learn more about the Boise State Esports program. Around 150 attendees visited Boise State Esports’ space during the festival.

The Engineering and Science Festival, took place February 22nd from 10am – 3pm and offered free attendance for K-12 students and their families. Events were held at a variety of locations around the Boise State campus, such as the Albertsons Library, the Student Union Building, the Micron Engineering Center, the Kinesiology Building, and many more. Attendees enjoyed a variety of hands on exhibits covering a wide variety of topics such as robotics, circuitry, chemistry, 3d printing, and more. The event also hosted a variety of presentations by various experts on topics such as dinosaurs and space exploration.
