Boise State Esports honored with “Outstanding Production Team of the Year” award

Boise State’s Esports’ production team won yet another award this year for their exemplary production value. Boise State won the “Outstanding Production Team of the Year” award at this year’s National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) Conference in Winter Park, Florida.

This award is the latest in a long line of honors the production team has won from NACE. Boise State Esports won the same award from NACE last year. Additionally, many individual members of Boise State’s production team have been recognized by NACE as well. Greg Smith and Kolby Alloway won the NACE “Shoutcaster of the Year” and “Broadcaster of the Year” awards respectively in 2022. The award caps off a landmark year for Boise State Esports’ production team, who recently hosted the CVAL/CLOL national championships, the most prestigious event the production team has ever worked on. The production team also recently helmed the CECC West Regional tournament, the Idaho high school state championships, and the National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors (NAECAD) conference.

The production team is keeping busy during the summer, getting ready to host new games and new tournaments for the 2024/25 academic year. Stay tuned for more news about upcoming events and tournaments happening later this year!
