Boise State Esports always strives to be the best when it comes to the production quality of its broadcasts. Boise State’s talented array of casters and broadcast staff put together live events that are unmatched in quality. Over the years, Boise State has won multiple awards for it’s production efforts. 2023 is no different.
NACE (National Assosiation of Collegiate Esports) recently had it’s 2023 awards, during which Boise State Esports won the Outstanding Production Award for 2023. Moreover, Kolby Alloway, a regular caster with Boise State, won the Broadcast Talent of the Year Award. Alloway previously earned the same award in 2022. Alloway graduated from Boise State in Spring 2023 with a degree in Interdiciplinary Studies.
Boise States Esport’s production quality is so renowned that it often partners with other organizations for prominent broadcasts. One notable example was the CECC West Regionals held earlier this Summer which drew hundreds of attendees to downtown Boise. Other organizations Boise State Esports has worked with include the USO, NACE Starleague, Black Box VR, Idaho Central Credit Union, and more.
Many students involved with Boise State Esport’s production team have achieved tremendous success. Hayden Dalton, a senior majoring in GIMM (Games, Interactive Media & Mobile Technology), earned the NACE Producer of the Year award in 2022. And most notably, Alex Moore, former assistant coach, left Boise State Esports for a production job with Riot Games earlier this year.
