Boise’s annual music festival, Treefort, is almost here! Taking place in Julia Davis Park and across downtown Boise, the event runs from March 22-26. While “Treefort” refers to the main music festival, the event offers much more than just music. The festival hosts events for a variety of different interests across its many different “forts”. For instance, “Artfort” venues host events relating to artistic creations, “Podfort” for podcasts, “Foodfort” for cooking and cuisine, and so on. Boise State Esports will be an official venue for the festivals “Hackfort” which relates to all things technology and gaming!
The Boise State Esports Arena will be open to the general public and festival attendees for the duration of Treefort. Guests can come and enjoy over 60+ gaming machines as well as watch live and recorded collegiate esports matches in both our arena and studio facilities! Additional Hackfort events, such as D&D sessions, fighting game tournaments, and GIMM student showcases can be found across the street at the Boise Center. The arena is open weekdays from 10am-10pm. Admittance is free so be sure to come on over and see everything Boise State Esports has to offer during this Treefort!
