Rolling right into the fray and standing out amongst the rest in Overwatch is Boise State’s tank player Matthew “MattMerc” Mercadante. MattMerc recently joined the Broncos and has made quite a splash during his time here as a tank player. Often seeing playing the chaotic and fast paced hero “Wrecking Ball,” Mercandante has made flashy and outstanding plays during his career. His accomplishments include a 2022 Mountain West championship victory and most recently a spot on the 2022 All-NACE Lineup. This lineup is made up of the best players from individual teams all across the country.
Mercandante (@MattMercOW) is a 2nd year student who is studying for a major in Kinesiology. Spring 2022 was his first semester with Boise State and he is already off to an incredible start. Undoubtedly, the Boise State Overwatch team has seen an incredible jolt of energy thanks to the addition of Mercandante.
