The objective of this initiative is to support the development of large-scale, interdisciplinary research initiatives that build upon established partnerships or launch new interdisciplinary teams. Proposals should be aimed at advancing research in one or more of SoE’s thematic areas, yielding tangible research outcomes, and engaging students in research activities.

Upload a document with your plans for sustainability or continuation of the research effort after the initial funding period. (Maximum of 250 words.)

Upload your detailed budget request (up to $25,000), with justification for each expenditure, using the requested budget template to prepare your budget request. Provide a narrative description of how the funds will be used (e.g. O/E, travel, stipend, etc.) as well as a brief rationale for why the funds are proposed to be used in the proposed way.
