Aida Midgett, professor and chair in the Department of Counselor Education, was featured in Boise State’s “This is Blue Turf Thinking” campaign and recognized on the Blue Turf at halftime for her innovative anti-bullying training program called STAC for K-12 students. Research shows that STAC-trained students gain knowledge and awareness of bullying as well as greater confidence to intervene when they see it happen. They also have an increased sense of belonging, raised self-esteem, and decreased levels of anxiety and depression.
