Grant Management Services through COED Office of Research

- Proposal Preparation: help in managing submission timelines, drafting your budget, and reviewing your scope of work
- Award Acceptance: acting as a liaison with OSP to ensure project funding is set up accurately
- Award Management: providing ongoing financial reports, tracking budgets and financial transactions for allowability, and administering human resources and financial activities, including hiring and purchasing
- Award Closeout: submitting final financial transactions, managing surplus / deficit in funds

- COED Project Budget Structure/Team F&A Distribution Form: This form clarifies budget details and is required for all projects involving COED faculty.

- Before embarking on your research agenda, familiarize yourself with Boise State University Policies, particularly the Sponsored Project Policies, Conflict of Interest Policy, and Effort Reporting.
- Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN) is an extensive database of funding opportunities that allows you to search for research funding in your field using keywords that identify your particular areas of interest and expertise. Additional research development support is available through the Center for Research & Creative Activity.
- The Office of Sponsored Programs provides numerous resources, services, and guidelines relating to sponsored projects, breaking the process into four cycles: proposal preparation and submission, award acceptance, award management, and award closeout. Their Principal Investigator information is a great place to start.
